Usually this time of year Carly & I would either already be in Spain or just arriving for the ‘Rockin Race Jamboree’.

We have visited the festival for 3 years running & it has become one of the highlights of our year.

Rockin Race is a roots, rockabilly, rock n roll, country 40’s, 50’s & early 60’s festival held in the town of Torremolinos, the weekend showcases bands across various locations in Torremolinos from beach fronts, pool bars @hotellabarracuda, town squares & the huge auditorium ‘Auditorium Municipal Principe De Asturias’.

It also includes an awesome classic car show hosted by @coast.classics
& this post is a picture from 2019’s 1/8 mile sprint.

We have discovered some awesome bands visiting the festival including @gofatboy, @thefuzillis, @losstraitjackets & @dryriverbedtrio

We are gutted not to be making our annual trip to Spain & the jamboree, so decided our next release should pay tribute to our experiences & love for the festival.

And we can’t wait to see the bands Rockin & rollin as soon as it’s safe to do so!

A limited run of our 45 vinyl! @rosiestevens featuring #dryriverbedtrio on #tardamrecords we recorded scorched and sweet baby of mine in mono and got mastered by Motown! A run of 300 copies! And as a fun surprise scorched got played on the BBC! Rhythm and blues galore! 😊
